About Bradford Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Survivors Service
Bradford Rape Crisis - Breaking the silence on sexual violence since 1981.
We provide free and confidential counselling, support and information to women and girls in the Bradford district who have experienced any form of sexual violence, either recently or in the past
We provide the following services:
- Telephone helpline, face-to-face counselling, shared support groups, girls groups, text & e-mail gateway services, information services, prevention work and training.
- Jyoti services, designed to meet the needs of Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic women & girls, including counselling, helpline and a shared support group. Services are provided in English, Punjabi and Urdu.
- Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs) who provide support and advocacy to women and girls, particularly those who have a recent experience of sexual violence and are involved in the criminal justice system.
- Advocacy and support for women and girl refugees and asylum seekers.
