Story

Ahoy there friends!

This May, I am so proud to be running the Hackney Half Marathon in aid of a charity close to my heart, The Literacy Pirates.

The Literacy Pirates are a small charity who are doing the most incredible work to transform the literacy skills, confidence and perseverance of children aged 9-13, who are falling behind in school. Having volunteered with the charity for over seven years, I know how hard the whole team work to deliver the most creative and inspiring educational programme, and to do that they need our support.

Any money you can spare will go towards devising and delivering a learning programme that will help our young pirates improve their literacy skills four times faster than they can at school alone. You can see a selection of the amazing work they produce during each term here.

Thank you for reading and wish me luck!
