Literacy Pirates is a beautiful story born in the heart of Hackney to improve literacy and confidence of children who are falling behind in class and who have fewer opportunities in their personal environment, so that they can succeed at school.

I have decided to run for them this year because I believe in the capability of every children if we dedicate the time to them. The power of books and the pleasure of reading can change lives.
