Every child deserves an equal chance to survive and thrive. Unfortunately, that is not the case around the world. Kids go without the nourishment they need, without access to education, to tools and resources that will allow them to go on to support themselves and their families. 

It’s organizations like Fiver Children’s Foundation that are changing that and providing access and opportunities to youth in the NY area from systemically under resourced communities so that they can create their own positive futures. Fiver makes a 10 year+ commitment to youth to supporting them beginning at 8 years old through year round programming focused on making positive life choices across education, career, health and civic mindedness. Everything from summer camp, to weekly programming on health, public speaking, ethics, professional skills, mentoring, to college tours and assistance with college applications, a wilderness trip that teaches our youth survival and the power of working together and so much in between. I’m proud to be a board member and have had the honor and privilege of witnessing first hand the impact that Fiver is making in children’s lives every day.
