Story

We have an amazing opportunity to convert an unused room in the school building to a glorious new science lab.

  • The new lab would be housed in the old Food Technology room on the top floor of the school
  • It would used by the sixth form during the school day for advanced science studies,
freeing up our existing labs for lower years
  • It will feature a Food Technology section, enabling us to fulfil a new promise we
will be making to all students: that everyone will leave school knowing how to
cook at least five nutritious meals
  • The science lab will be available to the whole school for extra-curricular
    activities.

We are on a final push to help our school deliver this state-of-the art facility before the start of next school year.  The PA will be running a series of fundraising events to hit that target and this page is to capture direct donations.  To make this vision a reality, we need to raise £7,000.

State funding of education has declined by 9% in the lifetime of Bolingbroke.  In this, our tenth year, we are hopeful that the generosity of our supporters will enable us to make an investment that will deliver benefits for the next ten years and beyond.  You can see the plans in the gallery and we're sure you'll be as excited as we are!

We thank you very much for anything you can give on behalf of the parents, pupils and staff at Bolingbroke Academy, our neighbourhood school.
