On Saturday 26 June, our team braved the waters of Clarence Dock to take part in the 3rd annual Leeds Community Foundation Dragon Boat race. Competing against 30 teams, we finished a very respectable 3rd place. In one race we even clocked the fasted time of the day!

The event aimed to raise £30,000 for Leeds Community Foundation (www.leedscommunityfoundation.org.uk). The Leeds Community Foundation supports more than 3,000 community groups and charities working in some of the most disadvantaged parts of and has distributed over £9m in grants since it was established in 2005.

Our fundraising efforts are well underway and through this site we hope to generate even more funds for our very worthy cause.
