Better Hearing Australia (Vic) Inc. supports thousands of Victorians with hearing loss and their families each year, through a range of free hearing services. Services provided by qualified staff include:
• Hearing tests
• Explanation of the hearing process and hearing test results
• Using and purchasing hearing aids and access to Victoria’s only Hearing Aid Bank
• Explanation of eligibility for government-funded hearing services
• Communication strategies across various life situations
• Tinnitus management.
With an ageing population and the impact of hearing loss on the Australian community expected to increase significantly over coming years, Better Hearing Australia (Vic) Inc. advocates for improved hearing loss services and increased government funding.
As Victoria’s only independent hearing loss management service, Better Hearing Australia (Vic) Inc. provides tailored support to maximise access to hearing-related services for marginalised and disadvantaged communities.
