In Loving Memory of Benjamin Winter Professional International Event Rider

On the 14th of June Benjamin Winter suffered a  fatal 'rotational fall' at Luhmuhlen Horse Trials and was crushed beneath his horse. Ben was air lifted from the event but was pronounced dead on arrival. This heartbreaking accident brings to light the shear danger associated with Three day Eventing. 

This page is to pay tribute to Ben and the outstanding care the Air Ambulance provide. Ben was a talented, loving and warm gentleman and it is devastating that such a successful rider was taken. 

Myself and a group of friends have taken on the challenge of running the South West Tough Mudder. Tough mudder is10-12 mile obstacle course designed to test all-around strenth, stamina, teamwork and mental grit. We will be tackling electricity, ice tunnels, fire and many more obstacles. In honour of Ben we would appreciate any contribution big or small.
