Story
Cats. Lots of us love them. They are completely ambivalent in return!
When I was growing up we had a long haired tabby cat called Puss. He was very laid back and very BIG! I remember him with fondness. Now I have a family of my own it is great to have another cat living with us. My sons both love to say 'hi' to every cat we meet, so they are also very much cat people too.
The black cat in the photos is our family stray, Smartie. He turned up a few years ago at Christmas. When he hadn't left the garden after a few days we realised he was homeless and felt he needed feeding, and he is still with us! He's very friendly and calm, and we were surprised - but pleased - that nobody claimed him. He's getting on a bit now, we think he may be 11 or 12 years old. We recently moved to Stroud and Smartie settled very quickly into his new home. He certainly enjoys exploring our garden in Stroud town centre.
Hopefully, by raising funds for Stroud Cats Protection, more local cats can get the help, homes and treatment they need.
Thanks for reading my page, and considering sponsoring me.
