Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I will be taking part in the Mears 2011 South Downs Walk. On 14th June I will be joining my friends and colleagues on the 11 mile walk from Kingston to Alfriston .

My nominated charity is the Sussex Multiple Sclerosis Treatment Centre, which is run on a self-help basis by people affected by MS. Members can take advantage of a range of therapies available at the centre, or simply pop in for a cup of tea and a chat. The centre also offers invaluble support to carers and family members, so anyone affected by MS is welcome. The work done at the centre is invaluable and helps make the lives of many families across Sussex so much better.

MS is the most common progrssive and disabling neurological neurolgical condition in young adults and affects around 70,000in the UK. There is no cure but research continues to find new ways to treat the condition.

My mum was diagnosed with MS 15 years ago, so I will be walking for her.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
