The charity is an amateur orchestra focusing on the historically informed performance of baroque music using authentic instruments. It runs workshops for amateur musicians and puts on public performances in and around London, frequently working with other charities in fundraising concerts. The company was founded in order to provide amateur musicians specialising in the historically informed performance of baroque music with the opportunity to perform baroque repertoire in public and directed by a professional in this field.
