This fundraising page for Beads of Courage UK will be used to document and record donations from both the UK Beads of Courage Music single / video and the adventures of one of the Co-Founders & Chairman John, who is drumming around the UK Coastline.

During 2021 & 2022 I plan on driving most if not all  of the UK costal route to raise awareness of all childhood cancers and the Beads of Courage UK charity.  I'll have awareness cards to hand out, and hope to meet some of our Beads of Courage UK members.  

I'm also going to be promoting our music song and video that the late Brian Travers from UB40 kindly helped contribute by recording samples on his amazing saxophone.  

I will be sleeping in / around my car, eating food camping style to minimise costs as I'm self funding this at my own expense.  

The UK has one of the most diverse and beautiful coastal routes in the world, and I plan on driving, cycling, swimming, kayaking and walking much as possible with the goal of navigating the whole coastline during 2021 / 2022.   I also plan on having weekend / day trips climbing big hills, and possibly a mountain or two with my Drum.  

Every day I will start off with meditating and preparing for the day ahead.  I'm taking an African Djembe drum kindly donated by Mark and Irina from Eternal Lakes, Cliffe, Kent.

 This beautiful hand carved drum has 41 handmade beads by the wonderful Jolene & Laney. (two bead makers and members of charity #beadfamily )   

We have a youtube channel that I will try to do some live streaming from when I reach a lake, mountain, beach, forest or even castle and sit down to do some drumming.
