About Beach Wheelchairs
Beach Wheelchairs is a local charity that hires specialist equipment for free to let people with disabilities to get onto the beach. We have a range of wheelchairs to suit your needs at our 3 locations. You can find us at North Berwick, and Haven in Seton Sands in East Lothian and at Portobello beach in Edinburgh. We are volunteer run and all wheelchairs should be booked in advance. We have a hoist at both North Berwick and Portobello.
