Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Our dear father, grandfather and husband, Bahadur Singh Ubhi was a true gentleman who always put others before himself.
Everyone who met him saw what a kind and loving man he was and felt his good nature radiate from him. He spent his life working hard to give his family the best life he could and quietly braved living with polycystic kidney disease for many years where he was reliant on dialysis to keep his kidney function going. It was in 2000 when a transplant was offered to daddy and for the next 21 years this blessing allowed him to live a more independent life than his former years.
The National Kidney Federation was a cause he supported, having experienced the difficulties of the chronic affect on the kidneys and the importance of everyone with PKD having the hope for a transplant. For this reason as a family we would welcome anyone to make a donation to the cause, supporting the NKF which campaigns for improvements to renal provision and treatment, and national patient support services. It is a national kidney charity actually run by kidney patients for kidney patients and for this reason we know daddy would be happy for anyone's generosity in their donations.
