Story
There are three things I hate in life; frogs, brussel sprouts and running and somehow I find myself trying to conquer the latter. I also hate asking for sponsorship, however many of you have asked to sponsor my madness and let a charity gain from my pain.
On Sunday the 31st of May, I shall be running the first leg of the Hairy Haggis Relay as part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, a mere 8.3 miles from Regent Terrace to Musselburgh. I will be slower than a slowworm but I only care for completing it and if a few pennies can be raised in the process all the better. I've chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as sadly they have, in recent times, been key in the care of a number of my friends and their families and who knows when any one of us will need them in the future.
So for Pat, Ken and Tom and my own dear Grandma, here goes nothing.
