Dear friends,

After many years of wanting to run the London Marathon,  I have finally done it!!!

I was there on Sunday 26th April 2009 at the start and the finish line - it just took me 7 hours and 25 minutes :-)

I walked all the way around the course except for the last 20 yards! I collected money for WellChild along the way and wore a red wig as you can see from the picture on the left :-)

I am supporting WellChild who do some amazing work with sick children, who often have to go through huge challenges.

I trained for many months to walk the course and it all paid off. People at the end kept telling me how fresh I looked!

My target is £1,200 but with your generous support I hope to raise more than this.
