We help people take action to protect the natural world around them

Story

I studied climatology back in the seventies and understand the repercussions of unchecked human activity on our planet; the hydrosphere and atmosphere in particular. There is a need to take greater care of our one and only home and to reverse the trends we are seeing. Some fine and brave people have been pointing this out to us for some time now. I thank them for this.

I am not a youngster but I have children and a whole bunch of grand children. My wish is that our earth recovers and that they will have a future not blighted by pollution, famine, floods, fires and all the other things that could be ahead.

I am also a poet and have written a few rather fiery poems about climate issues. So for me, it makes sense to take part in this event, to address my interests (and concerns) about climate, use my love of poetry, and act on my desire for a good future for the upcoming generations.
