I visited Severn Hospice recently as part of my research towards a fundraising book I am writing for them. I was totally enthralled by the dedication of caring staff and volunteers and delighted to see what an amazingly happy environment they are creating for people with progressive illnesses. Words can't do justice to the wonderful feeling you get, just by being there and after just one short visit, I was inspired to get going with my book. They told me about the midnight walk on 13 th June in Telford and I just had to sign up for it. When my lovely sister Lizzy heard about this, she also wanted to join in, and so she is kindly helping me to raise funds and she will be joining me on the walk on the 13th too.
