Story
I will be doing an abseil in the Snowdonia National Park for my birthday this year. It will be the first birthday, since we lost Lou and so I wanted to try and raise a bit of money in her memory ❤️
I have been lucky enough to have so much support and love from family and friends. There were also other support mechanisms which have really made a difference; one of them is a weekly group accessed through the Good Grief Trust. This charity aims to raise awareness of issues around bereavement and try to change the way we deal with this taboo subject in the UK, ensure acknowledgement of the potentially severe effects of grief and encourage us all to talk it about it more openly. The Trust offers support and advice to anyone bereaved; partners, parents, children and siblings. If you know someone that might benefit from this, please signpost them to this amazing charity.
I am raising money for two charities so if you would prefer to donate to Cancer Research UK instead then please search using this link:
