Story
Many of you will know me as a 42 year old christian with a zest for life. I have always enjoyed giving myself challenges in life and the time feels right for me to take on the 3 toughest mountains in the UK.
I want to show my support for my dearest sister Sarah Pask. Sarah is an amazing mother of 3 who has always been a caring sister that I have always looked up to (and now down to as I am much taller than her) and I love her natural caring christian instinct for blessing everyone she meets, which has shown in her district nursing career for the last 25 years.
For the last decade Sarah has has been suffering from Lupus a painful arthritic condition, that as well as causing painful joints can cause more serious long term health effects. This is why I want to raise as much money as possible for Lupus UK to support them in trying to find a cure, which I hope will help Sarah and many other thousands that suffer from this condition.
I will also be trying to raise sufficient funds directly (sponsor form) to buy a minibus this summer for residents at Mulberry House that would enable us to take them out for regular outings which should improve their quality of life (see below).
For the last year I have been working as an Occupational Therapist for Titleworth Neuro at Mulberry House an Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in St Leonards for adults aged 18 - 65. We have 14 fantastic residents all who have had their lives dramatically changed from various brain injuries. Resident's families and staff have set up a charirty called Friends of Mulberry House and we are trying to raise money to purchase a minibus with wheelchair access.
I know I have asked many of you to sponsor me in the past for various events and charities. You'll be pleased to hear that I hope to hang up my charity boots after this event. So if you can find it in your heart to give generously and keep me in your prayers I would be so grateful! God bless Andy Moule
