I will be competing in the Hertfordshire Tri-Force HSV Triathlon on 9th September 2012 to fundraise for the charity Regain who give support and assistance to those suffereing from Tetraplegia related paralysis as a result of a spinal cord injury. They do valuable work in helping those with spinal cord injuries be as independent and outgoing as possible. They achieve this by providing funding for hand cycles and other equipment as well as funding for therapies and providing financial advice and emotional support. This is an important cause to me as I have a close friend Andy who suffers with Tetraplegia after a spinal cord injury and I feel Tetraplegics are neglected by society, if it wasn't for the help of charities like Regain the lives of UK Tetraplegics would be even more difficult. By supporting Regain you will in turn be supporting my friend Andy, who is one of the kindest people you could ever wish to meet.
