This Autumn, I will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon and raising funds for the charity INQUEST. INQUEST is an amazing organisation that I have long admired, in 2020 I had the privilege of volunteering at INQUEST supporting their policy and communications work. During this time I was able to see first hand the crucial work and support this charity provides and would like to support the continuation of their work by running this half marathon. About INQUEST: INQUEST is the only charity providing expertise on state related deaths and their investigation to bereaved people, lawyers, advice and support agencies, the media and parliamentarians. Our specialist casework includes deaths in police and prison custody, immigration detention, mental health settings and deaths involving multi-agency failings or where wider issues of state and corporate accountability are in question. This includes work around the Hillsborough football disaster and the Grenfell Tower fire.
