I am raising money for the East Cheshire Hospice by doing a 10K walk starting at midnight on 25th June.

'East Cheshire Hospice provides special care for adults suffering from life-limiting illnesses for which there is no cure. We care for the whole person, aiming to meet all their needs, whether they are medical, emotional or spiritual or around the challenges of daily-living. We also support families and carers throughout what is often a difficult period.

Our mission is to make every day count for our patients and those important to them. The hospice is full of laughter and a place where life is celebrated.

As a registered charity, all our services are completely free of charge to all patients. However, the hospice receives less than 23% of our annual costs from government and so has to fundraise almost £6,000 every single day of the year simply to maintain its current service. '
