We break the cycle of youth reoffending to give people a second chance in life

Story

Thank you for visiting our page as a member of the VAlued Skills Festival. We are raising funds to support young men looking to change their lives and create a brighter future.

Who are Key4Life?

Key4Life is an innovative crime prevention charity which rehabilitates young men in prison or at risk of going to prison, and provides real solutions to help reduce youth offending.

The charity’s rehabilitation programmes help build resilience and unlock negative behaviours through a powerful blend of music, football, equine therapy, NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) and emotional release sessions.

Our mission is to reduce youth re-offending by delivering an innovative rehabilitation programme to those in prison and those at risk of going to prison. We also work with under 18s tackling anti-social behaviour and knife crime.

Ultimately we aim to saves lives and help break the cycle of crime. Offending already costs the economy £18 billion annually and Key4Life helps reduce offending with astonishing results. Only 14% of participants have re-offended, compared to the national rate of 64% one-year post release. And a Key4Life participant is four times more likely to be employed a year post-release. Since the cost of putting one participant through the Key4Life programme is £5000 versus the average annual cost of a prison place in England and Wales of £37,000, the investment is clearly worthwhile.

How will your donation help?

  • £20,000 will provide life-changing rehabilitation for 4 young men.
