Story
On the night of Saturday 4th September 2010, I will be joining others in the Big Street Sleep 2 in London (Piccadilly Circus) to raise awareness of the charity (Calcutta Rescue Fund) and to raise funds for its work.
Calcutta Rescue provides free healthcare, education and vocational training to thousands of the poorest people, many who are younger than me, living on the streets and slums of Kolkata (Calcutta), India. Things we take for granted.
My mum first went to Calcutta as a volunteer Pharmacist in September 1994. Last year my brother took part in the 1st Street Sleep in Hampstead. I was too young, apparently, but now I'm four I'm not! Please help me raise more than Oliver did last year.
