Story
Unexpectedly and with great Sadness, the family of Lesley Williams advises of her passing on Christmas Eve 2021 after a short period of being seriously ill.
Lesley's life was cut short at her prime of 56 years of age and she is survived by her two sons Ross & Scott, Her Parents Jimmy & Grace, Her Daughter in-law - grand-daughter and pending Grandson along with her brother, sister in-law and Nephews.
Despite suffering daily from the crippling effects of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lesley was a remarkably strong woman a single mother and sensational role model to both of her sons in addition to being a successful career woman and reliable colleague in the tough field of her trade and in many ways had accomplished two lifetimes of achievement despite her life challenges.
However, what losing Lesley in her prime of life has illustrated, was an observation to all of the family, that Rheumatoid Arthritis does not discriminate. No Matter how successful or happy someone seems, they maybe disguising their struggles. Lesley was a joyful person who would want to be remembered as the uplifting, positive woman she was. She would also acknowledge the challenges of living daily with the 24 hours of pain that Rheumatoid Arthritis brings at any point in an individuals life and her memory being dedicated to improving the treatment of this deteriorating condition.
The Family therefore respectfully request that should friends desire in lieu of flowers, that any honouring contributions are made to the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) in memorial to Lesley Williams..... Mother - Grandmother-Daughter-Sister-Aunt .... loyal friend and Colleague.
