Story
In June 2010 my beautiful mother in law Pat was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.
Myeloma is a type of cancer arising from plasma cells which are found in the bone marrow. Myeloma is highly treatable but there is, as yet, no cure. After a gruelling year, involving months of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant Pat's life is starting, thankfully to return to normal.
I am running the Great North Run, along with my sister in law Carol, to show our support for Pat and to hopefully raise lots of money for Myeloma UK.
Thank you for caring,
Alison x
