We fund lifesaving research to to tackle heart and circulatory diseases
Story
To raise money for the teenagers with heart disease I am taking part in five official gruelling events this Summer.
The Great North Run in September is the final of these five events that include running, cycling and kayaking. I have already completed the first four events - an off-road triathlon across the picturesque Fleet Estate in Devon in May (very wet and windy!), the Round the Harbours cycle (great views, fairly flat with 2 ferry crossings), the London to Brighton Bike Ride (and yes I did cycle all the way up Ditchling Beacon !) and the London bikeathon in July. I am now getting ready for the awesome Great North Run. I must be mad !
With my two boys aged 14ys and 11yrs we are together cycling, running and kayaking over 300 miles this Summer. The boys are raising money for their Grandad who died last year with Alzheimer's. Have a look at www.justgiving.com/fowlers for info on their fundraising too. We have also had features and photographs in the Hampshire Chronicle, Hampshire's Daily Echo and the Surrey Advertiser.
From these five events I am hoping to raise over £300 for the British Heart Foundation. Please give generously generously. Thank you very much
