Story

My name is Ali Berry.  I aim to run the West Highland Way; that is 96 miles in the shortest time my body and spirit can achieve it;  Hopefully in around 24 hours.  I am doing this on behalf of all the family I have lost to this horrible malady: My Gran Mary, my Aunt Isa, my Dad John, my Uncle Charles, my Cousin Colin, my Uncle Joseph, my sister Aileen and my cousin Emma.  I, by sheer luck alone, have managed to avoid the gene that has taken so much from my family as a whole.  This luck means my three children will not  have to live in fear of it playing a part in their lives.  But I need to do something in return.  This is it.
