Story
I am walking to help raise funds for the amazing services Sight Scotland offers to those with sight loss, and their families. As a staff member I get to see first hand the impact Sight Scotland makes on so many people’s lives.
After injuring my back badly at the end of last year, I finally feel I can take on a challenge. I’ll be taking on the Wee Wander, 5miles, on Sunday 15 September. I can’t wait to walk with other Sight Scotland walkers, and join other family members walking for their charities.
Anything you can donate will make a huge difference.
Living with sight loss can leave people feeling vulnerable, isolated and living in fear. Every hour in Scotland someone starts to lose their sight. It is scary, it is lonely and it will change lives.
Sight Scotland's experience in sight loss means they are here for you, your friends and family. From the moment there is a diagnosis, to as long as you need them. Sight Scotland will use all their knowledge and experience to be a source of support and advice to give people with sight loss the hope and courage to live life to the full.
