Hi everyone,

Thanks to a moment of madness, I'm running the London Marathon 2018 for Guide Dogs UK! AHHHHH.

This seemed like a crazy dream when I first applied for a place, but after my success in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2017 I'm confident I can do it, and excited for the challenge! But this is where I need YOUR help, to reach my fundraising target!

Guide Dogs are an amazing charity that help so many people. Every hour, another person in the UK goes blind, and it costs Guide Dogs nearly £50,000 to support a guide dog from birth to retirement. Almost two million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a  significant impact on their daily lives. Of those, around 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone and lead lonely, isolated lives. Guide Dogs works for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight  loss no barrier to fulfilling hopes and dreams.
