Story
I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me, even if it's just a small amount - it's quick, easy and totally secure.
I have decided to join the event this year to show my support for a little girl I looked after when I was a nanny. Poppy is now 16 and at the end of last year found she has a condition called Aplastic Anaemia. This means Poppy's bone marrow has failed and she is now waiting for a transplant. Aplastic Anaemia is not cancer but it is treated in the same way, with chemo. I would like to raise as much money as possible to help support thoses who will be caring for Poppy at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
