For those of you who know Susy, you may recall that I watched her do the London Triathlon last year and foolishly commented (whilst relaxing in the sunshine) that it looked like fun! I was just trying to give her some pre-race encouragement, but somehow or other she didn't forget. I think there may have been a pint or two involved somewhere, but now I find myself in a state of extreme panic / fear with the Eton Triathlon looming up in a few weeks. As is the way with these things, it's all the better if you bully a friend into joining you, so Simon agreed to take part aswell.

Since you must know Simon or I fairly well, I am sure you can well imagine how hard the attempts to eat healthily, get lots of exercise and to limit beer intake (?) have been. You can probably also assume that we will be in severe pain afterwards.

With that in mind, I'd like to ask you to dig deep and sponsor both of us in our madness - who knows, you might join us next time......
