Story

Assalamu'alaikum (peace be upon you)

Alhamdulillah that we are extremely fortunate to have clean fresh water at our disposal, however, others aren't so fortunate. Among those, some are required to walk several miles each day just to have access to water and even then the water is contaminated.

As we find ourselves in the last days of this blessed month, I am fundraising money to install water-dispensing hand pumps for the surrounding villages of District Jhang, Pakistan.

Approximately 36.2% of source water and 59.6% of household drinking water within the Punjab province of Pakistan is contaminated with E. coli and other dangerous pollutants. The target is $1,000 which will be used to build 10 hand pumps that dispense clean filtered water within the region. Today, you can make a change.
