Angel Child is raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity

Alfstock 2022 · 12 June 2022

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

Alfstock is BACK for a second year on Sunday 11 June, raising money for Angel Child – in conjunction with The Brain Tumour Charity – to fund new research into paediatric brain tumours, pushing towards more successful, safer, kinder treatments for brain cancer and improved prognoses and life expectancy.

Together with The Brain Tumour Charity, Angel Child has chosen to raise funds for a groundbreaking new research project led by Professor Richard Gilbertson, a paediatric oncology clinician and the Director of the Cambridge Cancer Centre at Cambridge University, which will cost £1.44m over the next four years.

After massive success in 2022, Alfstock will be a fun-packed day for all ages in the beautiful grounds of Ardington House in Oxfordshire with two music stages, a theatre space, fairground rides, street food, outdoor bars, Pimms, roaming performers & much more!

If you're able to come along on 11 June itself, please purchase your tickets via the Underbelly Festival website: https://underbellyedinburgh.co.uk/events/event/alfstock

However, if you are unable to join us & would like to make a donation instead, we would be extremely grateful for the support!

Thank you.

Alfstock is also held in memory of Alfie Bartlam, who died in summer 2019, aged seven.
