I'm cycling and running to support CurePSP, a charity raising funds and awareness to care and cure neurodegenerative diseases.

My grandfather, Max Haines, had PSP. I run and cycle in his memory and to help find a cure.

Max was fun loving, supportive and an amazing story teller. He would tell us "murder stories" around the dinner table, attend our school events and the man loved a pig figurine. He was quite the character. 

I love and miss him and think of him often - when playing a card game, listening to a true crime story or drinking a rum and coke.

I will be:

• Cycling 25 k.m.
• Running 3 k.m.
