Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This Christmas Eve just gone, myself, my family and friends lost someone very very dear to us. Alison was a human ray of sunshine and sadly lost the battle against melanoma cancer which has left a huge hole in all our hearts. I am asking for donations to the ACCORD hospice that took care of her and her family during her illness - they have been fantastic. Literally any donation you can manage will be gratefully received, and I will also be donating my leftover hair to the Princess Trust which makes wigs for children with cancer.
We all know that cancer is horrendous and ruins lives, and I think especially for women it must be so degrading and disappointing to have to lose your hair along with it; hair is such a big symbol of femininity. So, I will be shaving my head in solidarity with women with cancer! Also so everyone can have a good chuckle at my bald head in this sad time.
Thank you for reading, and if you knew Alison personally I hope you know how lucky you are! Please donate!
