Story
We sadly lost Dad this morning, 10th January 2021.
He'd been battling with a condition called AutoImmune Haemolytic Anaemia (among other things) which got progressively worse during 2020. We'd managed to keep him safe from Covid for most of the year, but he was in and out of hospital during December for blood transfusions, and picked up Covid while there. Unfortunately, this was too much for him to fight on top of everything else, and he slipped away peacefully.
We discussed with him the idea of setting up a just giving page in his memory when the time came, and unsurprisingly, being a hard working farmer all his life he chose the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, who offer financial support, practical care and guidance to farming people of all ages, including farmers, farmworkers and dependants.
Thanks for taking the time to visit Dad's JustGiving page.
