Yorkshire 3 Peaks For Alan

Thankyou for visiting my page and making a donation! Someone once said 'Every little helps', so please if you can donate what you can.
Everyone who knows Alan, and those who've only heard of him, knew him as a kind, generous, funny and charasmatic man. He could capture an audience within seconds with his witty stories and charming impressions. He was a loving father and husband to his three girls and wife Bo, an adventurer at heart, with a love for the simple things in life: art, nature and books.
In January Alan was given a 6 month prognosis after finding out cancer had once again struck, this time in his stomach. Having
previously fought off cancer, it was a real blow to the whole family. He did his best to fight it for as long as possible, but sadly passed away at home on the 2nd May 2020, with his wife and three daughters by his side.
Alan loved walking, and as an active member of a walking group would join his fellow ramblers in the peaks for walks on a weekly basis. Commonly at the back of the group due to taking pictures with his camera or stopping to admire the view, whilst generally waiting for a cloud to move out of the way for the perfect shot.
So, in what seems like fitting memory of Alan, a group of us will be doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on the 1st August 2020 to help raise money for Cancer Research.
