Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

This summer, myself and my trusty bike will be joining the awesome team united by We Out Here festival to take part in a 35km cycle to raise money for the Absolute Music Trust!

The Absolute Music Trust is an incredible charity that help make music more accessible to all by bringing musical opportunities and funding to those who cannot afford lessons or who would never otherwise get to experience the joy of music! They offer amazing workshops, lessons and instrument donation to a wide range of individuals from all walks of life - everyone from young people with physical and learning disabilities, to the elderly, young carers and those struggling with mental health and financial issues.

Music has an amazing ability to enrich the lives of everyone who is lucky enough to engage with it and I strongly believe that this privilege should be available to everyone no matter what your background.

Help us to raise funds for an essential cause and spread the joy of music!

RCN 1174528
The Absolute Music Trust was founded in 2017 in order to help and enrich the lives of people through musical activities, workshops, tuition and performances. We are passionate about music and as educators, performers and musicians we see, every day, how music can make a difference to lives. The Absolute Music Trust creates opportunities to share and offer musical experiences to those who may not otherwise benefit from such things, spreading happiness, hope and enrichment through music. We seek to inject musical fun into the lives of people in the Dorset and Hampshire region by offering hands-on musical activities, fun workshops and even focussed tuition to individuals and groups; everyone from physically disadvantaged children to the elderly, from young carers to those struggling financially, from hospice patients to those with mental health issues and addictions. We hope, by our actions, that the lives of all of the people we meet and their families will realise and enjoy the enrichment that music can bring to life.
