I am raising money to help build the FIRST EVER cancer medical centre in Azad Kashmir
36% of the population in Azad Kashmir live in poverty. This means that hundreds of thousands of mothers, daughters, fathers fall ill without any access to medical aid.
There are currently no medical facilities in Azad Kashmir where the poor can recieve free support. There are no specialist hospitals anywhere in Azad Kashmir, so patients travel to Islamabad or Lahore to receive diagnosis and treatment.
For the less fortunate, even this is a burden as they are having to fund travel on top of medical costs.
MAA Foundation are on the ground in Azad Kashmir, funding cancer treatment and diagnosis and are currently setting up the first medical centre where the poor will be able to receive free medical support. The medical centre will be equipped with a Pharmacy that will provide fully funded medication, alongside diagnostic machinery, ranging from a Ultra Sound to an MRI machine for free diagnosis of critical illnesses.
The cost of the centre will be £250,000 and I am hoping to raise towards that
