About The Ahmed Ali Petkar (TAAP) Foundation
This Foundation was established by Ebrahim Petkar and his enthusiastic family who would like to change the lives of poor, orphaned and underprivileged children and elderly in Rural India, Africa and Palestine by providing them with quality service, free books, education, food, clothing, basic healthcare, clean water and shelter.
The Ahmed Ali Petkar Foundation. Every £1 you donate will go towards projects designed to directly improve the lives of people living in extreme poverty, develop their self-reliance and build hope.
What you help us achieve:
With your support, our work has helped to transform the lives of many people living in poverty. From England to India, to The Gambia and Zimbabwe.
We have tackled food poverty in Birmingham, arranged for an elderly gentleman to travel to Mecca for the Hajj, provided a new water supply to a village in India and built a community centre for a village in The Gambia.
Our work continues and we are engaged in a range of exciting projects in Gambia, India, Zimbabwe and Palestine.
