Story
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ
and hello to everyone reading this. I would like to start off by introducing myself and how I was first introduced to Clemency House. My name is Adnan, I am local to the community of Oldham and have been here for the past 22 years of my life. I am currently a first year student here studying the Arabic language (Verbal & Written). I have been here since March and was introduced to this by my good friend Usman who has also benefitted from the same Arabic course here in Clemency House.
I have started this campaign to raise awareness as there's many different communities in Oldham and Greater Manchester that don't know about this and it would benefit them as it did myself and many others. From Free GCSE tuition to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, there's lots to get involved with.
The money will go towards refurbishing and development of a well-needed, multi-purpose youth centre and community hub. It will promote health and wellbeing, improve education and relieve poverty amongst some of the most deprived communities in the borough/country. Please support this project and help create a unique space that is accessible and welcoming to everyone.
There is no donation too big or small. If you are not able to donate, I hope this information can benefit you or someone around you. Together, we can help to build a strong, thriving community.
