Story
We are a group of Year 3 children from Pontypridd, South Wales. During lockdown, we heard the sad news that our school friend, Oscar, has had to go into hospital to fight cancer...again. Although we are all apart at the moment, we would like to work together to help raise money for the charity, Latch. Latch supports children and their families who are being treated by the Oncology Unit at the Children's Hospital of Wales.
Aled is going to be cycling 20 miles to Cardiff and back.
Alfie is going to run a live online exercise class.
Danny is going to be silent for 12 whole hours.
Emmy is going to walk 50 miles by the end of July - very impressive considering she broke her foot, in two places, in April.
Harlee has chickens and will be selling their eggs to raise money.
Kian will be doing 1000 jumps on his trampoline.
Molly is going to walk 50 miles by the end of July.
Neve has decided to do an origami chatter box marathon making day! She will see how many she can create in one day by the end of the month.
Owen is going to be cycling to Cardiff Bay and back.
Rowan is going to learn a new break dance move every day for two weeks and will make a video of what he's learnt.
Saffir is going to be walking four miles a day for four weeks.
Tyler is going to be walking 24 miles in a two week period.
Will is going on a 13 mile walk to find the Giant’s Tooth.
Zachary will be completing 200 laps of his garden (it’s big) on a quad bike.
We will continue to update this page with details about how we are planning to raise money.
