Dean was a much loved husband, father and grandfather. He loved life, especially spending his time with family and friends. He enjoyed his time on the golf course, and could often be found in the kitchen, cooking a fantastic meal with a glass of red wine in hand. 

Dean was seemingly fit and energetic but recently, he was sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer and given only weeks to live. Tragically, 10 days after his diagnosis, Dean passed away. 

Whilst Dean chose to be cared for at home by his family, St Gemmas Hospice provided brilliant support throughout.

St Gemmas heavily rely upon the generosity of the community for the majority of their funding. We hope that the donations left in Dean’s memory will provide similar support for other families.
