As well as raising funds and more importantly raising awareness of suicide I would like to raise awareness around the support I found in my church during the difficult time when I learnt that my Mum had taken her own life. 

Sadly, suicide is on the rise and we hear more and more about people taking their own life. Not only that, we know that we are in a mental health crisis and mental health illness massively impacts the rise in numbers of suicide. Which is why I have teamed up with a number of close friends from my church family (Spring Mount Church) and Every Life Matters to organise a Family Fun Day with an incorporated fun run. 

The day will go ahead on Saturday 10th September which is World Suicide Prevention Day so if you would like to get involved with either the run, helping support the day or just by donating I would be thankful. 

For those that struggle, you are not alone. You matter. Every life matters. ❤️
