Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I will type my life story below ⬇️
Hi everyone! My name is Zain Alsoud, I am a 19 year old, future medic, navigating my way through a gap year (or should I say gap yarrr?) I started this year working two jobs, saving up to travel. However, dreams of eating a buddha bowl on a beach in South East Asia is but a distant hope that is slipping further and further away.
Soooo, I started painting and things started to pick up, I am practically millimetres from becoming Van Gogh - my new ear piercing got infected - I COULD HAVE LOST MY EAR. Anyway, people really started to like "@zainpaintzofficial"and simultaneously, I wanted to turn this little piece of happiness that I stumbled across into something that could really benefit others.
*lightbulb moment* I thought to myself "why not do something for Syria?" This sequence of events leaves us here; I am sitting in my living room, typing away on a keyboard withastickyspacekey, thinking of sentences to keep you interested and maybeee persuade you to donate?
I do not need to go into detail in regards to the suffering faced by millions of Syrians as I'm sure you are all aware. But it is real and it is happening. We moan about having spent the past year being locked indoors, but imagine growing up on a refugee camp. I have chosen Souriyat Across Borders as it is a women-led organisation that supports the youth, women, people with disabilities and try their best to reach anyone left behind without aid or support. I believe in and trust their work. I invite you to join my efforts in doing so.
Personally, I will be donating a portion of the profits from each painting I sell. We have until the end of August to reach the target of £1000. You do not need to buy a painting in order to donate!! Any amount is appreciated so please donate if you can : )
Thank you all! <3
