Me and Robbie farrier will be running the Great North Run this year in Aid of the Eve appeal. Last year my mam was diagnosed with womb cancer and it came as a massive shock to us all. Thankfully a successful hysterectomy removed the Tumour and scans revealed the cancer had not spread. 

The main reason we want to support this charity is because there is currently very little information out there for women on the signs and symptoms relating to womb cancer. Uterine cancer is the 4th most common cancer in women and the most common gynaecological form. Despite these facts many women are only aware of cervical cancer despite there being many other forms of gynaecological cancers.

Hopefully by fundraising for this great charity we will help to raise awareness and help women spot the signs early.
