Raise the Roof!
Campaign by Joseph Rowntree Theatre (RCN 1098329)
The theatre roof has been untouched since the theatre was built in 1935 and needs insulating and making watertight. This work is needed to secure the future of the building and ready it for even bigger plans to improve our community offering.

Story

The theatre's 85 year old roof needs immediate attention to keep it watertight and we also need to insulate the theatre to reduce carbon emissions. We will also install solar panels on top of the fly tower. Your help will enable us to achieve these aims, which are the first part of a long term development plan. Our theatre has a secure future, we can, and will, survive the current pandemic as long as we look after it and nurture it.
