We have been overwhelmed with the offers of support from parents and families and the desire to be a part of and contribute to the future of the Performance Pathway in Yorkshire since our listening sessions in the spring.
At these listening sessions, one of the requests from several parents was the desire to donate money to Yorkshire Cricket as a thank you for the free kit that has been provided to all children on the Performance Pathway this year.
We have committed to providing kit free of charge to ALL players moving forward, so to be absolutely clear there is no expectation or obligation to donate anything. But for those who would like to contribute, you can do so here. We have chosen for any of these donations to be made to support the Club's charitable arm - The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation. The Foundation works with a wide range of partners to transform the lives of people through the power of cricket. They use the brand of Yorkshire, cricket and sport to work towards creating community without boundaries.
Donations can be made anonymously.
For the basic playing kit for County Age Group players, the Club has invested roughly £220 per County Age Group player and at least £64 each per Regional player this year, but it is of the utmost importance to us that everyone can access the Performance Pathway going forward, and that cost of kit should never be a barrier.
Once again, thank you for your enthusiasm and commitment in support of the Performance Pathway in Yorkshire.
